On Monday, sort of a danish invasion took place in Gothenburg when around 60 teams arrived at the same time by ferry.
All Monday the pitches at Heden were filled with kids aged 8-9, their coaches and family members cheering them on from the sidelines.

Sweden was down by three balls at the break against the Faroe Islands in the opening match of the European Open Championship but turned the game around and won after a very strong second half.
The national team tournament European Open Championship for girls aged 16 kicked off on Monday morning with a meeting between Romania and Slovenia.
Iceland is by most standards a fairly small country, with a population of around 350.000. It is therefore quite astonishing that no less than 54 teams from 12 different clubs are participating in Partille Cup!
Club Italiano from Chile has arrived to Gothenburg after a trip that took two days (!). – We are very tired but also very excited, says Sebastian Araya, leader and physiotherapist for the team.
In 1972, Västra Frölunda's juniors won gold in the Partille Cup. In connection with the 50th anniversary, the team will be reunited and relive old memories at the same time as they will visit this year's edition of the Partille Cup.
